What does Above and Beyond Faith Journeys do best for us?

We begin with a personal consultation centered on your travel dreams and plans.
There is no charge for this telephone conversation or Zoom meeting. Are you thinking of a family adventure, small group tour, pilgrimage, mission trip, or hosting a group travel experience for family and friends? Group travel for adult solos? Boomers? Other travel? Through our networks we suggest itineraries, local experts and guides, transportation, cost efficiencies – safety tips!

What do Above and Beyond services cost us?

Unlike most travel advisors, we do not make direct bookings for you. We rarely earn commissions. Instead, we offer expertise, recommendations, and referrals. We save you money, and our flat fees or hourly fees are smaller than the savings you realize.

How far in advance should we begin travel planning?

If your trip is simple and is in the U.S. or Canada, we can provide advice and guidance a few weeks or months before travel, unless you want to plan further ahead. International travel and tours: it makes sense to plan at least a year or two ahead, especially for group tours. There are often early bird discounts. You will have time to make a detailed itinerary.

What about last-minute discounts?

There are several time slots at which airlines, hotels, and especially cruises offer discounts – often through high volume travel vendors. An example: in early January many large travel companies and vendors offer “last-minute” discounts for cruise cabins in January through March or later.

Does Above and Beyond Journeys make referrals to other organizations and travel agencies, for personal and group travel?

Yes, we do! We’ve traveled using companies from large to small. And from 10 Star concierge level personal service to simpler resources at less expense.
