In 2015 Donald and Sarah Fishburne began a new chapter in our life together. We continue to live on the coast of Maine in the summers, and we travel more in the winter and spring. Purposeful and enjoyable travel has included Rome, Tuscany, Venice, The Holy Land, Egypt, and much of Europe and its rivers. We guided groups on ocean cruises, river cruises, and we visited places new to us: Ireland – and Cuba. And parts of the U.S. and Canada new to us. Paris was an old friend revisited, and we added the Normandy Coast. We remembered our times in England and Scotland.
Along the way we learned a lot about planning ahead, saving money, packing light, and traveling with groups of 10 to 400. In 2025 we decided to share what we’ve learned – and to continue learning with family members, friends, and colleagues. We’re confident that this collegial sharing will benefit you, as well as us. What’s next for us? More of the Caribbean, and likely Asia. What about you? We look forward to sharing ideas and knowledge with you. You could have a dream come true.
